Kevin Chapman’s relaxed and magnificent leopard (Mountain-lion) is creatively carved of serpentine with augite, about 2 5/8″ long and 1 1/4″ tall, with turquoise inlaid eyes. This piece of serpentine sure lends itself to mimicking a leopard’s coat. This feline’s tail is long and lush, presented in the old-style way with it up and over the backside. We like this cat’s mouth, which is slightly open showing small teeth and incised whiskers.
