Mildred Unkestine’sgorgeous sterling silver and Sleeping Beauty turquoise necklace and earring set is all hand-fabricated.Each Sleeping Beauty turquoise stone in this set has been hand cut and set into tiny, hand made bezels, an intricate and laborious style of jewelry making unique to Zuni Pueblo jewelers, called “needlepoint” or “petit point”. The sterling silver chain is also hand fabricated, resulting in a truly lovely and femininenecklace. The total length of the necklace is about 20″ long but can be adjusted using the hook clasp. The larger center V shaped station measures about 2″ wide by 1 1/4″ tall. Each of the smaller stations on either side measure about1 1/8″ wide by 3/4″tall. The delicate earrings hang at about 1″ long including the ear hook, and are 1/2″ wide.The necklace is signedby the artist on reverse.
