Known as the ships of the desert the US Army experimented with using camels in the American Southwest mid-19th-century. Maybe this one was lost on Zuni Pueblo land. Camels teach us about survival during trying times. With a sweet face and eyes of inlaid turquoise this ship of the desert is about 3 1/4″ long, 1 1/2″ wide, and 2 1/2″ tall.
