Bryson Bobelu’s amazing ram or bighorn sheepis carved of Zuni stone, a type of travertine indigenous to Zuni Pueblo. We love how Bryson presented his animal with a turned head, looking upwards. Did you know a pair of horns might weight up to 30 pounds? The males have larger, curved horns. The turquoise nugget and heishe offering bundle contrasts nicely with the colorfulness of the Zuni stone. About 31/4″long, 2″ wide and 2 1/4″ tall, with inquisitive eyes of inlaid turquoise.
