Leander and Lisa Othole’s dynamic and adjustable bolo tie has a beautifully worked sterling silver, turquoise, mother-of-pearl, pen shell and red spiny oyster shell inlaid station that measures about 2″ long and 1 1/4″ to 1 3/4″ wide. Perhaps this exquisite design is representative of a mountain landscape with falling rain. Each stone and shell rests harmoniously side by side, in the exacting stone-to-stone jewelry technique.
