Ancient agatized coral formed when silica replaced the original calcium carbonate skeleton of a coral colony. This process created amazing specimens with cave-like appearances. Christopher Sandoval carves his animal fetishes from some fabulous materials like this independent Bobcat or wildcat carved from Indonesian agatized coral. The specimen is spectacular and eyes from blue turquoise inlays compliment the natural beauty of the agatized coral. About 3″ long, 1 1/4″ wide and 1 3/4″ tall.
