Kenric Laiwakete’s standing Bearhas been carved from a lovely fossil stone. Gentle eyes and a heartline or breath path are inlaid with turquoise starting at the nose leading to the heart region. Bears can walk short distances on hind legs so an upright one is considered healing by the Zunis. Bears have powers we do not and are revered for those extraordinary abilities. About 2 1/2″ tall, 1 3/8″ wide and 1″ deep.
