Fred Bowannie, Jr.’s Bear is masterfully carved from Zuni septarian nodule scouted while rock hounding with his best friend and fellow carver Felino Eriacho. Fred’s bears overflow with charm. Heartfelt eyes are from pen shell inlays. The sweet bear is upright in posture suggesting strength and wellness in Pueblo worldview. This treasure foraged from Zuni country is approximately 2 1/4 tall, 1 5/8″ wide and 2″ deep.
