A perched Owl is an observant raptor carved from a good-looking onyx that’s been well-polished. It takes all things into account through cultured opal inlaid eyes. A tiny offering necklace is laced with faceted beads. The A:shiwi (The People) regard an owl as the Night Grandfather because he does his work at night. Measurements are approximately 2 1/4″ tall, 1 1/4″ wide and 1″ deep, by stone carver and jeweler Benina Kallestewa.
