Burt Awelagte lets the stone direct the shape of the animal. Here he has carved an observant bushytail (Fox, Wolf or Coyote) with turquoise eyes from a gorgeous leopard marble, a favorite medium of Burt’s. The way in which he secured the offering bundle is somewhat loose resulting in some movement. It contains green turquoise and golden amber nuggets. We can protect our wild canine friends by supporting legislation that bans inhumane traps and snares. About 2 1/2″ long, 7/8″ wide and roughly 1 3/4″ tall.
