We’re happy to welcome potter DH Mavapu to Keshi’s website with a fabulously painted pottery Owl wearing a traditional tablita headdress with sweet bumblebees hovering over hives that rest on the head region of the wide-eyed raptor. The owly-eyed expression reminds us that they can see what others cannot. Little wings and tail feathers are creatively presented in three dimensions. In Zuni many homes have a pottery Night Grandfather Owl watching over them. About 7″ tall, 5″ wide and 4″ deep, handmade from natural clay and pigments.
