Evalena Boone descends from the noted and important Teddy Weahkee (d) family of Zuni artists. Evalena’s mother is Lena Boone, and her grandmother was Edna Leki (d). Evalena’s brother is carver Leland Boone. Hewn from a cool recycled material from bowling balls called bowlerite, Evalena’s happy turquoise-eyed Badger measures roughly 3″ long, 1″ wide and 1″ tall. An ombre of vibrant blue, purple and magenta hues are sensationally lovely.
