Named for the Latin word caeruleus meaning sky blue in reference to its exceptional color, this vibrantly blue stone is also found in Bolivia, England, France, Australia and Namibia. Brian Yatsattie’s joyfully swimming sea Turtle is a mosaic medley of colorful ceruleite from Chile on top of an iridescent bed from mother-of-pearl shell. About 4 1/4″ long, 3″ wide and 3/8″ tall.
