Sandra Quandelacy’s lepidolite carving is full of wonderful feminine energy. We seecorn maiden, Mother, and Grandmother making an appearance in this approximate 3 1/4″ tall, 1 3/8″ wide and 2 5/8″ deep piece. Some of their faces are overlaid with pipestone, turquoise, denim lapis and fossilized ivory. Their eyes and mouths are drilled and darkened. They are embellished with red coral, turquoise, gaspeite, malachite and other colorful bits. Many incised Dragonfly are seen as well.
