Carved in the traditional old-style, Frankie Poblano Chattin’s Mountain-lion (panther, puma or cougar) hasa long tail up and over its backside.Frankie comes from the greater Teddy Weahkee (d) family of Zuni artists. His parents are well-known jewelers and carvers Jovanna Poblano and Daniel Chattin.Frankie’s approximate 5 1/4″ long, 2″ wide by 2″ tall serpentine carving carries an offering bundle of coral, turquoise, shell and tourmalated quartz beadson top of a spiny oyster shell arrow point. The rich green serpentine body is smooth and curvy with bright blue inlaid turquoise eyes.
