Photographing this handsome ram was a challenge because of the high polish and the strong reflection of the piece! The watermelon serpentine is a lovely stone and very appropriate for a ram. Pete(d) and Dinahcollaborated together and were famous for their work. They respected the animal which was always impeccably carved. Dinah still carves today. The tiny silver medallion was their unique signature, stamped with G p/d. This lovely ram measures about 2 1/2″ long and 1 1/4″ wide.
