• For Decades, the creative team of PLHC, Silverman and Tseng have brought their trend setting vision to Seattles Fashion Scene with their Stores, DREAM, BLISS, and Finch & Sparrow. As the seasons and years changed, so has their vision for their company. John Tseng had amassed an amazing collection of uncommon tropical plants, and when COVID hit, clothing sales stopped and houseplant sales went on the rise. Within a year, PLHC was transformed into an oasis of tropical houseplants that became a hit in the community. The one constant from day one was that fragrances permeated in all the stores. That still holds true to this day with the collaboration of their friend, Christi Meshell, mastermind behind the infamous House Of Matriarch High Perfumery.

Christis amazing scents captivated both Silverman and Tseng years ago when they carried House of Matriarch Perfume in their stores. Fast forward to 2023, all 3 met together and John gave Christi his vision to create a fragrance that would invoke the lush and feel of a greenhouse overgrown with tropical plants from floor to ceiling. Born was HORTUS, a unisex fragrance, created for plant lovers.
