The ‘Chicken Farm’ variety is believed to be a hybrid of Hoya finlaysonii and Hoya deykeae. It was discovered near a chicken farm in Tenom, Sabah, Borneo, in 1997, hence the name.
This Hoya features elongated, lanceolate leaves with prominent, dark green veins and silvery-grey splotches, resembling camouflage patterns. The leaves have a waxy texture and can grow quite large, reaching up to 8 inches in length.
While the foliage is the main attraction, Hoya finlaysonii ‘Chicken Farm’ also produces beautiful, fragrant flowers in clusters. The flowers are typically pink or reddish with a darker corona.
Available in 2″ nursery container. Size will vary.
