WhatHorselover could resist this horse by Dee Edaakie? Thankfully, Robin didnt and it has been a cherished possession for a number of years. When the angle is right, the light isbeautifully iridescent. Labradorite is a difficult stone to work with. The layers within the stone are what make the colors so stunning, but it also makes carving it tricky. Dee did a masterful job, as usual. Definitely one of the best carvings of labradorite ever! This beautiful horse measures about 2 7/8″ from nose to the tip of the tail and stands at 1 7/8″ tall. The carvingis also signed by Dee.
