Troy Sice’s “Moon Maiden” is an exquisitely small fetish carved from burnished antler. She gazes at the Zuni moon through etched, jet filled eyes while wearing a traditional headdress called a tablita. It’s created from shimmering gold lip shell and inlaid with crushed pipestone and turquoise accents. An inlaid double strand necklace is designed with malachite, turquoise and red coral cabochons. A cape is meticulously set with variscite, red coral, lapis lazuli and pen shell. This museum-quality beauty is about 2 1/4″ tall, 1″ wide and 3/4″ deep.
