As you travel across the high desert of New Mexico you might be lucky to catch a glimpse of the horses free to roam the Pueblo lands of San Felipe, Kewa and Cochiti making their living among the sagebrush and juniper. A sighting always feels special, as if a blessing for the journey and even more so when a new colt is seen among the herd. Wilson Romero who is from Cochiti Pueblo carved this wonderful Horse from found stone. About 6″ long, 2″ wide and 3 1/4″ tall.
