The Zuni travertine creation is beautifully carved with soft curving lines and a high silky smooth polish, measuring about 5″ long, 3″ wide by 2 1/4″ tall. The turtle gazes upward with bright blue inlaid turquoise eyes. Across many cultures turtle represents perseverance, protection and longevity. The Zuni travertine has wonderful color variations and the carved details continue around the belly of the water creature. Another masterful creation by the talented hands of Melvin Eriacho.
